Blog Hop August 10th

Book Blogger Hop

It's been way too long since I hopped! Head over to Crazy For Books to join in the fun.!
Who is your go-to author when you are in a reading rut?
I don't find myself in many reading ruts very often, but usually when I do I gravitate towards thrillers or an old favorite.  Right now I'm reading a lot of Lisa Gardner, but Stephen King and Dean Koontz are always there for me too.   Probably my favorite author to re-visit when I'm in a rut is Christopher Pike.  Love him!

So who's your go-to author?  Does yours change from time to time?

  1. I have a few favorite authors I go to when I am in a rut to get myself jump-started again.

  2. I have never heard of Chris Pike. Mine would be Andrea Kane, Kristin Hannah or a Verse Novel.

  4. I have a Christopher Pike book on my shelf from when I was a kid (a library book I stole, actually, I think). Every time I look at it... I think of you.

  12. CHRISTOPHER PIKE!!! So I convinced a fellow book blogger to read Chain Letter (cause that's my favorite) and she loved it! Final Friends was really good to though (as was Weekend and Slumber Party) I think we should reread them together.

  13. I found this a really difficult question to answer, too - if I'm in a rut I probably want to try something new! :)

  14. I still feel like an absolutely horrible friend for not finishing these for your birthday! I hope you will one day be able to find it in your heart to forgive me.
