Since my one of BEA roomies and blogger friend, Cindy of Cindy's Love of Books is hosting this meme for the last time this month, I thought I'd actually participate! Plus, I gots some cool books.
For Review:
Underworld by Meg Cabot. Already finished this one and I'll be mailing it off to the next blogger on the tour this morning. Review will be up soon!
Arise by Tara Hudson. Haven't read the first book, hope that doesn't make a difference. Love the cover!
Timepiece: Hourglass #2 by Myra McEntire. God bless you, Netgalley!
Gifted:
SIGNED copy of Boy's Life by Robert McCammon! God bless you, Midnyte Reader!! She attended the 2012 World Horror Convention and picked this up just for me (and now McCammon totally knows my name!). And then she shared a cab ride with him and Sherrilyn Kenyon. I am awash in jealousy and awe. But mostly I'm thankful for the book! ;)
Borrowed:
Divergent by Veronica Roth. Kim was nice enough to lend me her copy and I have promised to read it with the utmost care and consideration. ;)
Hi there! Thanks for visiting my blog. :) Oh and I think you should read Hereafter first before Arise - just so you know what happened before. :) And DIvergent?? It's a must-read. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI would, but I have Arise through an ARC tour, so I only have a few days to read and review before I send it on it's merry way. And I can't wait to get to Divergent!
DeleteOh signed by Robert McCammon, that is SO awesome, he's one of my favourite horror writers!
ReplyDeleteGreat books :)
My weekly wrap-upThe Sunday Session
I read his book The Five last year, based on a Stephen King reading list, and I was blown away by how good he was! Midnyte Reader is a huge fan of his too, so she was nice enough to pick me up Boy's Life, which I haven't read yet. So excited!
DeleteI still have to read Hourglass, but I picked up Timepiece as well. Yay for the signed book!
ReplyDeleteAnd if your nice, I'll let you borrow insurgent as well. ;)
I can be nice! ;)
DeleteOh my gosh, I read Boy's Life years ago and loved it. Someone actually brought it up as a suggestion at my last book club meeting. You're in for a treat!!
ReplyDeleteI think your book club sounds kind of awesome! I'm looking forward to Boy's Life!
DeleteI think you will love Boy's Life! I had to look and remembered that I had read eons ago :)
ReplyDeleteIt seems everyone but me has read it! What's wrong with me? I swear, I used to be that person that had read everything before their friends did. But that's what I get for having book blogging friends! :)
DeleteI hope you enjoy Divergent! I can't wait to read Insurgent. Timepiece looks really interesting as well, I've been seeing it around a lot of this week. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteThe best part of waiting so late to read Divergent is now the wait for Insurgent will be nothing! Hourglass was good, and both books have some awesome covers!
DeleteI'm excited to hear what you think of Divergent!
ReplyDeleteI've been meaning to read Meg Cabot and I haven't gotten to yet! You got some cool books this week :) And it's nice to know that I'm not the only one that hasn't read Divergent yet LOL

Jessica @ Books: A true story
I just got Timepiece through NetGalley! Can't wait! And, you have to read Divergent, because Insurgent comes out tomorrow! I can't wait for that one either. Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteA signed copy of Boys Life? I am incredibly jealous! Have you read it yet? McCammon is an amazing writer and Boys Life and Swan Song are two of his best (IMO).
ReplyDeleteBoy's Life sounds interesting, enjoy!
