Top Ten Tuesday: I Vow to Read These in 2013!

Top Ten Tuesdays is a meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.  Since I'm trying to get back into being more active in the book blogging community, you'll be seeing more participation in this as the year goes on. 

Today's top ten is: 

January 1, 2013: Top Ten Books I Resolve To Read In 2013

1. The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater
2. Bitterblue by Kristin Cashore (finally!) 
3. Thirst No. 4 by Christopher Pike
4. Beauty Queens by Libba Bray
5. Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins
6. The Casual Vacancy by J.K. Rowling
7. How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf by Molly Harper
8. Size 12 and Ready to Rock by Meg Cabot
9. Blameless (the Parasol Protectorate #2) by Gail Carriger
10. The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis

These are all books I thought I'd get to in 2012 and didn't, so I'm making the effort to get to them in asap in 2013!

  1. Excellent list! Size 12 and Ready to Rock is a must read for me too. I think you'll really like Beauty Queens and after all you went through to get Bitterblue you most definitely must read it!!!

  4. I really want to get to Lola this year too! I read Anna last year and loved it. I got The Casual Vacancy for Christmas so I'll definitely be reading that this year too!

  7. Great list! Scorpio Races is amazing, Beauty Queens is hilarious, and I also can't wait to read Size 12 and ready to rock. I got really excited when I found out there was a new Heather Wells Mystery novel!

  11. Oh my gosh, Beauty Queens is so so so good. I highly recommend the audiobook, too.

    I also want to read The Scorpio Races. It isn't on my TTT list, but I do want I read it. I hear it is absolutely amazing!

  15. The Scorpio Races was one of my favorite reads of 2012! Bitterblue made it on to my list as well. I got The Casual Vacancy for Christmas and am looking forward to seeing how I like J.K.'s post-Potter foray into adult literature. Lola is a very cute read! Good luck with your list :)

  16. I think Steph will not rest until all of us have read The Scorpio Races. It didn't make my list this year because I don't yet own it, but I definitely want to read it soon!

    And you definitely have to read Lola! I loved it even more than Anna.
