When Comments Make a Difference

I've never done this before, but Katiebabs over at Babbling About Books wrote a blog that not only moved me, but has the chance to really make a difference, in fact it just may save lives.

Some of you make be aware that there have been several recent suicides covered by the media that have been contributed to bullying. Sadly, it's nothing new.  There are a lot of reasons why this is touching me so personally, but rather than write a horribly rambling blog about it (which is my specialty), I'm sharing the link to Katitebabs site, because she's doing something about it. And she wrote a beautiful, inspiring blog about this subject.

Please read her blog, or heck, simply skim it, but LEAVE A COMMENT.  For every comment, up to 500, Katiebabs will donate a dollar to two charities that help at risk kids.  Blogger JMC of bookrelated will donate another $100 on top of that.  So please, take the time to comment.

Again, this is the link: http://kbgbabbles.blogspot.com/2010/10/it-gets-better-my-500-pledge.html

And if you can, spread the word.  Because, with help, it gets better!
